The need for a nursery school arose when one of our sisters who was teaching in the above named school suggested that it was necessary to transfer the children to our premises. She decided to make this request after observing that the previous school was not offering the children a conducive atmosphere for learning. The room that was serving as a classroom was the same one that was used as the kitchen, the dining room, the siesta room and the store. The latrines were also indecent and dangerous for the children. The sister shared her sentiments with the parish priest who was in charge of the school who accepted her idea and they both decided to transfer the children to our premises. The building had to be adjusted to accommodate the children.
